San Juan de Los Terreros

San Juan de Los Terreros is a small village of barely 1000 inhabitants in the south-east of Spain, on the Costa de Almería, between the Costa Cálida (next to the Costa Blanca) and the Costa Tropical (next to the Costa del Sol).  The village is an ideal place for a quiet, sunny and typically Spanish holiday. There are typical Andalusian restaurants, supermercados, beach bars (chiringuitos) and heladerías. Some recommendations are Annie's bistro (Belgian), La Venta, La Geoda, Lucero.  Typical for this coastal area are the numerous (inhabited) rock houses. Moreover, San Juan De Los Terreros has a high number of hours of sunshine. From 5 in the deepest winter months to 11 hours a day in the summer. This in combination with the microclimate - thanks to the favorable location between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains - makes San Joan De Los Terreros very pleasant all year round.

Market: a daily night market on Sundays and during the summer months.
